Robinella is the band fronted by Robin Ella Tipton and propelled by her husband, mandolin player Cruz Contreras, through a jazzy take on modern bluegrass and pop. Ezra Hamilton was one of Charlottesville’s most soulful singers until he blew town a couple years back; he’s been back a few times with the new alt-rock project he’s been working with in Ohio, but this will be his first local show as a soloist in quite some time.
