About 500 runners and hundreds of supporters turned out for the Zombie 5k on October 17 in Downtown Charlottesville. The race was conceived as a marketing stunt for local filmmaker Brian Wimer's Danger. Zombies. Run., a film premiering at the Paramount Theater on Saturday, October 30 and showing again at the Virginia Film Festival on Friday, November 5.
