Jicks joined by West... and even a Dead cover

College rock icon and UVA grad Stephen Malkmus brought his Jicks (his band) and his buddy and former bandmate Steve West (born in Charlottesville) to the stage of the Jefferson Theater September 30 for a show that included plenty of banter including the concept of having sex on acid with your parents watching while getting crapped on by DMB's tour bus in Chicago with the Doors blasting in the background.
