With its trendy restaurants, remodeled houses attracting young professionals, and close proximity to downtown, for the past decade Belmont has been the hip area in town. It turns out it also was the hub of a thriving drug enterprise dealing a drug not usually associated with the cool part of town: crack cocaine.
