Tuesday Travelers: Young adventurers ages 3 and up can travel to a distant destination without ever leaving Charlottesville at the Virginia Discovery Museum. Explore other cultures through books, music and art with a touch of geography and foreign language, and make a craft or sample a native food. 11am. Included with the cost of admission. Knitwits: Teen knitters in grades 6-12 can bring needles and know how, or come to learn how to knit, crochet, or any other needlecraft you care to tackle at Crozet Library. Everyone shares ideas, helps each other learn new techniques, and finds out about charity projects. All experience levels welcome. 7pm. Free. Registration is encouraged.
