Snap: Remaking the crosswalks
A contractor jack-hammers out a cobblestoney set of concrete pavers Wednesday, December 16, installed as part of an early 1990s Corner district overhaul. The city is now overhauling many crosswalks with thick white bands and— in some cases— embedded, self-service lights. (That’s St. Paul’s Memorial Church in the background.)
