news-snap-gleasonDespite a nearly unprecedented real estate slump, the largest building ever to be built in Charlottesville (not counting UVA, of course) continues to rise. Having already reshaped the south of the Downtown Mall view, The Gleason— as seen here September 29, three days before a swanky “topping-off” party (not its first)— climbs six stories with 36 condo residences, two floors of Class A office space, and retail on ground level, 167,000 square feet in all.
