A charter bus carrying students from Hampton’s Bridgeport Academy caught fire at around 11:30am heading west on Interstate 64 near milemarker 89 near Staunton, the Staunton News Leader reports. The Virginia State Police say there were no injuries, and that the cause of the blaze is unknown at this time. The students were traveling to a job fair at James Madison University in Harrisonburg.

I-64 doesn’t go “just west of Staunton.”

U-Hoo: Correct. I’m pretty sure MM 89 is east of Staunton.
