The University of Virginia has tapped Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson to deliver the commencement address to the Class of 2009 when they graduate on Sunday, May 17. Wilkinson was appointed to the Federal Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals by President Reagan in 1984, and was reportedly on the shortlist for the Supreme Court under both Bush administrations. He is an alumnus and a former professor at the UVA Law School.
