A two-alarm fire engulfed a home at 447 Hidden Ridge Road Monday around 5pm yesterday. Neighbor Don Lepsch at 432 Hidden Ridge Road provided this photo, but WINA has the money shot: Firefighters rescuing a cat from the burning structure. No one was injured in the fire. An electrical box may have sparked the flames that caused $400,000 in damage, according to WCAV.

So scary…thank god they were able to save the animals which I heard also included a dog and two ferrets. I feel terrible for the homeowners.

Actually it was two cats and one ferret. With the wind that day, everyone that owns a house with in 60 yards owes the fire department a great thanks. It’s amazing they contained it to one house.
