Last Saturday night, one Western Albemarle family took advantage of the repeal of the governor’s ban on open burning by igniting a pile of brush that had accumulated over the summer. There were no reported injuries.
just because the ban to burn was lifted, still doesnt mean that it’s safe to burn… please be overly careful and remember that if a fire is started due to your debris burn, you will be responsible for any cost(s) or damages.
