A sympathetic judge decided that the local man whose year-ago arrest was once heralded as one of the biggest marijuana hauls in recent history should not serve time in jail, according to an online report in the Daily Progress.

The defendant must not have been black. That much pot should keep his wife flying for another 50 years. Good example of a dual system of justice. I guess that guy just convicted in Louisa was not of the proper social group, either. He’s getting time.

What is wrong with the justice system in this county (I know there are discrepencies everywhere). One couple gets 27 months for supplying alcohol to minors while this man gets NO TIME for growing an ILLEGAL substance.

Thanks for your comment. I had forgotten about that.
