ACAC-ville

With two locations (Water Street and Albemarle Square), its Adventure Central complex on Four Seasons Drive, and a new mega-ACAC being built in the old Ivy Industries building, you’d think the popular heath club’s ambitions would be fulfilled. And you’d be wrong. Now ACAC is opening a private school serving preschoolers and elementary students. At $9000 a year, not including transportation, the Charlottesville Day School at ACAC isn’t cheap. Still, 60 students have already enrolled, and ACAC expects there to be 80 enrolled when the school opens this fall. So, what’s next? ACAC supermarkets?
