Virginia Film Society screens “Documenting the Face of America: Roy Stryker and the FSA/OWI Photographers”

The Virginia Film Society concludes its fall schedule with Jeanine Butler’s documentary, Documenting the Face of America: Roy Stryker and the FSA/OWI Photographers, which examines the New Deal-sponsored photographers who provided into the lives of ordinary Americans during the 1930s and ’40s. The film is narrated by UVA history prof and civil rights leader, Julian Bond. Vinegar Hill Theatre.
