Vinegar Hill screens Koji Masutani’s VIRTUAL JFK

March 21, 2009 2:00 pm
$8.50

John F. Kennedy

As part of the Virginia Festival of the Book, the International Film Circuit and Sven Kahn Films present the Koji Masutani-directed film, Virtual JFK, which probes the question of what might have happened had John F. Kennedy not been assassinated. Inspired by J.F.K.’s statement that “we must never negotiate out of fear, but we must never fear to negotiate,” the film weaves together footage from press conferences, interviews, and documentary evidence to explore the scenario of “what if.” Writers/producers James Blight and Janet Lang, who are presenting their book of the same title at the VFB, will be on hand for Q&A sessions following each screening. Vinegar Hill Theatre. 220 E. Market St. 977-4911.
