What does the Book Festival mean to you?

Alex Caines:
"Hopefully it means that others enjoy reading as much as I do. This particular festival has special meaning for me because my mother, an author, will be receiving a lifetime achievement award." [See Mom on p. 33.–editor]

Jim Lansing:
"It's a wonderful event. We've got international authors– what could possibly be bad about promoting reading? It's extremely eclectic and an interesting format. There's something for everyone."

Gwenn Barringer:
"This time of year I am so busy speaking that I rarely have a free weekend, so I regret to say that I have never been to the Book Festival."
