Scottsville engages in folly

After reading the article, "Trash or treasure? Scottsville car dealer outraged" [News, February, 23] (http://www.readthehook.com/93122/news-trash-or-treasure-scottsville-car-...), I Googled your website for more examples of Scottsville's ostensibly misguided quest for gentrification.

Without diatribe, let's just say the subsequent hour of reading was quite an education concerning the local political folly of the sleepy little town by the river.

Perhaps Scottsville's powers should remember William Penn's words of wisdom when deciding how best to go about the revitalization of the local landscape: "Unless virtue guide us, our choice[s] must be wrong."
