What's your worst experience purchasing a used car?

 "I haven't bought a used car since I bought my neighbor's blue Mustang in 1986. I just purchased a new car. I never even test drove it. I let my son give it a test drive with me as the passenger, and we drove off the lot with the car of my dreams."


Angela Hawkins: "I have bought two used cars, and both experiences have been positive. I bought a Nissan Maxima from Colonial Auto, but I didn't feel like they were hounding me with car salesman tactics."


Coe Sweet: "More rust than I realized at first. I bought it from someone in Louisa, a FJ-40 Toyota Land Cruiser. I got in over my head with that car."
