Reid's is a grocery store
Lynn Jameson, in her review of that great example of city sponsored gentrification, 208 Sixth Street NW ["On the Block," December 5] (http://www.readthehook.com/92828/real-estate-block-starr-y-starr-y-hill-...), claims that there isn't a grocery store nearby.
What does she think Reid's on Preston Avenue is? It's a grocery store that is very close to Sixth Street NW and has an excellent meat department and very competitive prices.
Could it be that Reid's is just not "upscale" enough for her tastes?
