UVA Art Museum holds Family ArtJAM: "Playing with Paint: Exploring Abstract Painting"

Collection University of Virginia Art Museum.The University of Virginia Art Museum presents a Family ArtJAM, "Playing with Paint: Exploring Abstract Painting." Children will learn first tour the current exhibition, "Excavating New Ground: American Art in the 1970s," and then contribute to a large drip painting, plus create their own abstract watercolor paintings. The workshop for 5-7 year olds meets 1-3pm, followed by one for 7-12 year olds, 3-5pm. All children must be accompanied by adults. 155 Rugby Road.
