Some nicknames are obvious. take the forlorn overgrown parcel at the corner of routes 250 and 240 just east of Crozet. An ambitious dreamer once planned a restaurant called Cafe No Problem where a gutted eyesore now stands. But in 1995, that dream died, but now local realtor Stu Rifkin is looking to revive the idea and fix what fast became Cafe Big Problem.

ACAC effect: Mega club pumps up nearby shops
When Atlantic Coast Athletic Club finally unveiled it's 6 million dollar 40,000 square foot downtown digs on November 20, ACAC members weren't the only ones awaiting the opening doors with bated breath. Businesses surrounding the new facility hoped for a boost from the new club and it seems in the first few weeks those hopes were not in vain.

MyC'villeTV: Oldies station scores primo spot
Gray Television flooded the Charlottesville market with three stations two years ago and now prepares to offer a fourth: a new station offering programming from 40 years ago. I Love Lucy, Gomer Pyle USMC, and Perry Mason will once again fill the airwaves December 28 when MyC'VilleTV and it's classic TV format debuts. Will John and Jane Charlottesville go for Lucy and Ricky Ricardo?
