Police seek clues in P. Buckley Moss heist
Approximately 14 P. Buckley Moss prints have been stolen from a Waynesboro house whose owner has been in a nursing home for over a year. The break-in was reported in late May when a neighbor noticed a broken window in the back of the house, according to NBC29. The burglar ransacked the house and took coins as well as real and costume jewelry.
Some larger prints that couldn't easily be carried out of the house were left, the News Virginian reports.
Police warn that the thief may have a hard time fencing the popular artist's work, and pawn shops will be on the lookout for images of feetless geese and Mennonite moppets.
