M*A*S*H guy and Mosley signed for Book Fest

Author and activist Mike Farrell, aka Captain B.J. Hunnicutt on the long-running TV series M*A*S*H, and bestselling author Walter Mosley are on board for the 14th annual Virginia Festival of the Book in March.

Mosley wrote the first of his phenomenally popular Easy Rawlins mysteries, Devil in a Blue Dress, in 1990, and has been THE most requested guest at the festival, say organizers. He'll headline a 4pm March 30 benefit at the Paramount. Tickets go on sale at the Paramount box office December 17 and range from $125 for the primo patron ticket that includes a reception with Mosley and a copy of his book, Blonde Faith, to $38 for the rafter seats.

As for Farrell (pictured above), a man as liberal as the anti-war character he played on the 1970s-era television show, he has just written a memoir, Just Call Me Mike: A Journey to Actor and Activist, and he'll be signing copies at his 8pm March 29 Paramount event. Tickets are $10 and also go on sale December 17.
