Sex, lies, and videotape in Greene
Former Greene County Sheriff's Office lieutenant Leftery N. "Terry" Tsouroutis pleads guilty December 17 to transporting a teen police informant/crack addict across state lines to have sex and to making false statements to the FBI. According to a Daily Progress story, Tsouroutis was busted when a colleague found a videotape of the cop and the girl having sex. Defense attorney Lloyd Snook denies allegations that Tsouroutis, now remarried and working in HVAC in NoVa, had sex with the teen in the courtroom of the Greene County Circuit Court or that he gave her drugs.

And always remember, it's a little like shoplifiting in a way. For every one that is caught, 99 go undetected.
"He ditched me too..." what does that mean? Is it some kind of slang.
We had a shortage of patrol vehicles this particular night. Which was not unusual in Greene County. He told me to go home and relax while he went off to take care of business somewhere. I think his little dirty deeds were going on long before 2002.
I always knew there was something wrong with this boy. He ditched me too (as a fellow deputy) one evening when he needed to go look into something. I voiced my suspicions to both Sheriff Morris and the then Capt Haas when this took place. Haas isn't fooling anybody when he claims it took place under the prior administration before he was elected sheriff. He was part of the dministration back then.
This is very disturbing. Does anyone remember Press Williams? He was sheriff in York Co (virginia) a few years back and got busted for doing (more or less) the same thing.
This strike me as the kind of crime that happend in the heat of the moment. It's clear this is more a reflection of his character and part of a pattern of behavior.
