Snap ‘o the Day: Boxer demo

Demolition of the old Boxer/Central Fidelity Bank building on the Downtown Mall appears to have begun, making way for The Landmark, a $30 million 9-story luxury hotel scheduled to open in July 2009.

Before the mall became so hard to park near and get to, I use to bank in this building when it was Citizens Bank & Trust. It's a shame to see such a nice building torn down.

I'm pretty sure that the new building will be quite a bit nicer than this one....not such a shame.
