WriterHouse has announced its fall schedule of programs, including six writing classes, several one and two-day workshops, and monthly author events. Registration is now open for fiction, non-fiction, and poetry classes, beginning September 15. In addition, the WriterHouse gang will also be offering a "Writing the College Application Essay" workshop for high school seniors.

For those of you not familiar with WriterHouse, its an actual space at 508 Dale Avenue that was created by a group of writers seeking to create a community and support system of writers...and actual space for writers to work. You can find out more on their website.

"We're starting the fall with nearly 60 members, eight of whom use the writing space regularly, which is well ahead of where we thought we'd be," says VP Rachel Unkefer.

That place looks like a lot of fun. And having Open Marriage author Jenny Block to speak there was a bold, if controversial, stroke!
