Out-of-the-way Roth reading

Philip Roth.

If you truck it on over to Williamsburg, you can catch the great Phillip Roth, who'll be talking about his new book, Indignation, which Esquire Magazine describes as being about "Ohio, Newark, sex, war, and guilt. Always guilt. You have a month to prepare." Indeed, Roth's books certainly display literature's "ruthless intimacy," as Roth himself once put it. Its on Tuesday, September 16 from 7pm to 9pm at the James City County Library. Contact Andrew Smith at 757/259-4050 for more information. Free.
