I still can't believe it. The kids and I always enjoyed Steve and his programs. Entertaining but also very educational. He had an enormous positive impact, and always seemed such an open and likeable person. Truly he is missed. Those who speak ill of him or his methods were perhaps taken aback by his boyish, full-of-life enthusiasm. His legacy is overwhelmingly rich and positive, especially in showing people that even animals feared or despised by humans are just creatures trying to survive, deserving of appreciation and respect. And his "wrestling with crocs" was always in the context of assisting an animal in need: in need of medical attention or reloaction to another habitat. Bless you Steve. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

our prayers go out to his family. His programs were so educational and so intersting. No one brought us closer to wildlife like he did whether it be night or day;land or water. Especially all those crickey times. He did what he loved most, he did it with excitement, enthusiasm, showed us how to appreciate the wild as he did.We will always remember him

The world is a worse place with the untimely death of Steve Irwin, a man much loved and respected as a person and for his love of animals, his enthusiasm, dedication and conservation efforts. Although his death seems incomprehensible to us, we can take comfort in the fact that God is in control and this is part of His plan. May God comfort and bless Steve's family and friends.

Steve Irwin was a man who knew what love is. He gave us many wonderful gifts including the possibility of seeing beauty in the face of a warthog. Even call it "Sweetheart" as he did. If we can, because of him, do that, then maybe we can see beauty in other less obvious places as well, including each other.
He was a healer, a teacher of love and acceptance at the highest level, a martyr for the cause,
a hero.
Thank you for your gifts, Steve.
Thank you for having lived.
We love you.
We'll miss you, Sweetheart.

I feel Steve Erwin was a wonderful man who was a true Hero. He was a man who lived life to the fullest and loved his family. I thought since he gave so much love to animals, opened his heart to us, and educate us on conservation that a license plate could be made in his name in rememberance of his life work on conservation around the world. It's only right, we need his spirit to live on. My prayers go out to his family and friends . Thank you, Rachelle Hansen
