Crozet has had a long orchard tradition starting in about 1880. With favorable climate and soil and easy access to the railroad, fruit production enjoyed a hey-day until the middle of the last century. The Crozet Farmer’s Market celebrates this agricultural history annually with an apple cider pressing with a mixture of local apples from Henley's Orchard. Home-baked bread, desserts, fresh produce, locally grown flowers, and handcrafts are also available at the market. Fresh cider tasting and activities for children, too.
