Antoinette W. Roades, the great-grandaughter of photographer William Roads, will speak Sunday, November 16, on the exhibit she organized presenting portraits done by the local photographer in the 1860 and 1870s. The exhibit, "Photographed by Wm. Roads," is held in the McIntire Building Exhibit Hall and showcases a who's-who of 19th-century Albemarle County residents and runs through Feburary.
