Antoinette, your ignorance of the cruelty of dogfighting is sad. I hope that as you grow older you become more informed and, hopefully, compassionate.

He should be made to set up wonderful accomodations for the animals that are going to be euthanized. They should live out their days in wonderful surroundings. Free of Large thick Chains and collars heavier than there own body weight. He should spend 5 years in jain and never play again for the NFL. He hurt to many animals and people.

Michael Vick should be suspended from the NFL for life and made to pay back his $22 million signing bonus to the Atlanta Falcons. A Federal fine should be imposed equal to all the money they calculate he spent on dogfighting over all the years in question. I see nothing accomplished by putting him in prison but rather make him do community service work at a local animal shelter for an equivalent period of time. His public statement disturbed me, in that he just called his activities "childish", not crimnal, and stated that "he had some growing up to do". He still doesn't get it.

I think Judge Hudson should give him the maximum five years under the federal sentencing guidlines. Then, I think that each state where he is alleged or suspected to have engaged in dogfighting should investigate violations of its laws and prosecute him if the evidence supports it. I believe there are four or five states mentioned in the federal indictment and I understand that other states (e.g. Arizona) have opened investigates. Assuming even a couple of states obtain convictions the NFL should not have to even address him playing again, he will be in prison until he is too old to play.

Never let him play in the NFL ever again. He knew being involved with a dog fighting enterprise was illegal. He deserves maximum jail time.

I say throw the book at him. Do ya really think he's sorry? Wow sorry he got caught. He would have never admitted guilt if the other 3 did not throw the towel in first. Don't you get it. He was wanting a jury like oj Simpson to let him go because of who he is. The judge must throw the book at him and then the other states need to go after him. I don't care what color he is he is GUILTY. Look at the tapes. Just think what he did to the poor innocent animals. He accepted Christ. Again he first had to be turned on by his so called friends and he was in trouble big time now. Tell me why did he not accept Christ when he was killing and maiming the animals. The rape stads. It makes me sick to know that the owners of the football league the nfl commissioner is letting this jurk go on so long. Again 5 years maximum, through him out of the league. Set a example. If the black want to say we only want this because he is black then so bew it. Tell me where was the naacp at when the other 3 were also indicted? Well you guessed it. They had no money and no fame. Really I would like to see him given the death penalty by a bunch of dogs.

Check your laws people and case history there are other people out there doing things to animals just as bad and sometimes worse, and a lot of them are only receiving probation and fines. Sure it is wrong but what gives us the right to judge and say what he deserves. I felt that his apology was heartfelt, a lot of you missed another interview before all of this came to the forefront of US news. He was already apologizing for being associated with this situation. None of us can feel what he is feeling. Haven't you ever done something wrong? How sincere did your apology sound? Sure no one ever wants to get caught, but we should be able to forgive and get back to the business of running this country. You to keep your eye on your President and make sure he does not institute the draft again while you are worried about what Michael Vick is doing. Then most of you men will be in Iraq dogfighting for Bush. We are fighting over there still because?.......He lied and our Soldiers are still dying because? What? Hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of dead Americans. Let Michael Vick have his probation and he should have to donate his time and money to the care of animals. Listen to your commentary people you all sound just as evil. What does it accomplish......NOTHING.

So far no one has mentioned whether the M. Vick's know right from wrong and what effect their misdeeds and lack of punishment causes on the youth of the world. Hmmmm, Yes, we should get back to running the country and educating future leaders... but what is the solution to overcome the violence and deny-until-totally-caught teaching of role models such as the M. Vicks? And...whatever happened to the Minnesota Vicking protitutes charter boat group? The Vick's will never be sorry and will always be arrogant hypocrits! Church on Sunday and, as long as they fill the collection plate, they can be criminals the rest of the week! What a sick uncivilized "village" they live in.
