J.D. Souther
J.D. Souther probably oughta be an icon of 1970's country-rock – he has songwriting and production credits with the likes of the Eagles and Linda Rondstadt and did a duet with James Taylor called "Her Town Too" in 1981 – but a few years thereafter he disappeared. He only re-emerged this past October with the Afro-Cuban(?!) influenced If The World Was You, his first album in 24 years and a contender on a couple year-end critical best-of lists. Just think – last time around, he was sharing the charts with Wham and Cyndi Lauper.
April Smith opens.
