I am sorry to inform you, but the MLB is business. The Cubs, yes, they are a baseball team, but to the leagues they are simply a cash cow, or competition, depending upon you interact with.

Baseball is America's sport. We love the Cubs, the Red Sox, we hate the Yankees, the White Sox. As fans, that is fun, part of the spirit of the game for us. But, as fans, we need not dwell in the business side of baseball because we may not like what we see...
