Steve Riggs Benefit

Bassist Steve Riggs has been a key player in many of Charlottesville's strongest local acts since the 80's, from the Charlottesville Allstars to American Dumpster. He recently suffered a heart attack while uninsured, and his friends from over the years have teamed up for a rock and roll benefit that aims to preemptively help with the massive medical bills that are about to start showing up.

Look for sets from the Allstars and Dumpster and a whole slew of others, including the Chickenheads, Alligator, the Gladstones, the Rogan Brothers, Alligator, and Ian Gilliam.

The Chickenhead Blues Band - Talk To Me, Baby
The Chickenhead Blues Band - Glamour Girl
The Chickenhead Blues Band - Hunky Dorey
The Chickenhead Blues Band - Marvin's Water

The Rogan Brothers - Into The Light
The Rogan Brothers - Heartbeat
The Rogan Brothers - Hang Tough

Proceeds benefit Fry's Spring Beach Club – and, of course, Steve.

I am looking forward to tonight so much! Great friends, great music, great love... all under one roof! Incredible! Thanks to everyone for pulling this together. Peace....

I just watched this movie in an empty theatre with my wife. We were both greatly disappointed. There's so much wrong with this film. Almost non of the dots connect.

I hate that this is based on a true story. I wish we had another film to remember these men. I was hoping for better from spike. This almost looks like am expensive "student" film.
