History Day
Ivy Creek Natural Area boasts a rich history, and today they're telling that story. The barn, formerly the showpiece of the working farm known as River View Farm, is open for a rare opportunity to glimpse into the past. Earlysville Rd. 973-7772.

Oddest timing: An update
Virgil Goode's Congressional Office in Danville, Eden's Curve is listed as a contact number for the 2003 Toronto Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. This comes after Monday's announcement that his long-time Press Secretary Linwood Duncan (who is featured in the film and a long-time friend of Jerry Meadors) is leaving his Danville post with just days before the election.
Here's the story: http://www.raisingkaine.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=16973
How about "best reason to lock em up and throw away the key" instead. Now it is a smokers fault if they get robbed three blocks from the police station? I guess if they had gotten raped outside of Aberdeen Barn your headline would have said "best reason to become a vegetarian"
Have you seen the prices in Aberdeen Barn lately? Most people get raped inside. :)
I'm surprised that you didn't mention that Virgil Goode was the recipient of some ($1000) of the illegal contributions from the cockfighting advocacy group and that he did not vote on the bill that they wanted killed in 2007.
I'd rather be represented by Virgil Goode than by a spook from Yale Law School. There's too many of them running things already to add any more to the mix. Write in John Giuliano for Congress next Tuesday!
