PVCC opens "Vessels," "Automatic Artifacts," and Dawn Sorrell's "Mr. Roboto and Cohorts"
Piedmont Virginia Community College holds an opening reception to celebrate three new exhibitions: "Vessels," a show of work by three local potters, Kevin Crowe, Cri Kars-Marshall, and PVCC's own Tom Clarkson; "Automatic Artifacts," a group show by women who originally met while taking painting classes at PVCC; and Dawn Sorrell's "Mr. Roboto and Friends," the inaugural exhibition in the new Second Floor Gallery, a space dedicated to showcasing student work. Hell, it doesn't even have bars on the windows..I thought that was standard equipment in that neighborhood.
