thanks for

Country Blessings in Scottsville has a lot of yummy locally baked goods such as breads, scones, cookies and other treats. They serve Shenandoah Joe coffee and make lots of really good things "in house" such as a wonderful chicken salad sandwich, quiche, subs and other sandwiches. They serve boars head brand meats. The store is located right before the James river bridge on the right side of 20 South. Scottsville has lost a lot of oldies but Country Blessings is great and Pee Wee's Pitts bbq is also excellent and still open!

I've heard that the Kluge Winery Farm Shop no longer serves any food or pastries because everyone including the awesome pastry guy was fired, and that they are now offering wine tastings in plastic test tubes. If so, what on earth are they thinking? Wine tastings in plastic? Weird.
