Wonderful stories of courage and hope. Thank you Courtney. This article may encourage more people to check that little box on their driver's license and perhaps save a life. One never knows, this simple act could be a priceless gift for someone.

My husband received a life-saving kidney transplant at UVA almost 3 years ago, and I constantly tell people about the signs that are all around the transplant center: "Don't take your organs to heaven, heaven knows we need them here."

My Husband and one want to donate our bodies to science and do not know how to go about this. If you can help us with this we would appreciate it.
