Student Film Festival at UVA
The University of Virginia Student Film Society presents the 14th annual Student Film Festival, which brings together 12-15 short films selected from submissions by students all over the country for competition in three genres, narrative, experimental, and documentary. In addition, to the films, which initially screen April 10, 7-9:30pm, Reno 911 comedian, Sarah Tiana, will host and perform, and the American Film Institute's Lane Kneedler, local filmwriter Jeff Lowell, Turner Entertainment's Matt Arden, and independent filmmaker Eric Hurt will lead a panel discussion at 6pm on Saturday. Judges for the competition are filmmaker and local luminary, Jeff Wadlow, and UVA alumus and renowned producer, Mark Johnson. Newcomb Hall.
