The UVA Jazz Ensemble
The lucky UVA kids taught by downtown jazz legend John D'earth fill their last concert of the year with swing and Latin jazz, including Bennie Goodman's iconic "Sing, Sing, Sing." Local hip hop fusion band The Blackout Project drops in to shake things up and debut a new hybrid oriented composition by keyboard player Chris Plietz, who is a Jazz Ensemble alum himself.
