Award-winning young local organist
This recital was spectacular. Oliver is talented, to be sure, but he has developed every aspect of his playing. Another organist attending the recital remarked, "The most complimentary thing I can say about an organist is that I did not listen to the organist, I listened to the music. This was certainly true last night at Oliver's recital. I found myself hearing all the lines and their interplay, and forgetting that I was listening to a seventeen-year-old young man who had chosen an unusually demanding program."
Kudos to the author as the selection of "Rocky Top" must push the right buttons for people who need peace and quiet for thoughtful projects. This makes me want to sit down and start my next novel; paint my next landscape portrait; or compose my next sonata. I would think you would get a good response from the University crowd, especially later stage Professors. The house's crisp and efficient lines remind me of something you would see in Europe. Long live the Modern House! AvT

It's not Rocky Top Road. It's Rocky Hollow Rd. Rocky Top is at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mtns. This house is off VA-20N, closer to Pantops. Has the Hook already realized this error?
Thanks. We've corrected it.
Actually, there is a Rocky Top Road just off Rocky Hollow Road, where this house is located. So I uncorrected it.
Sarah Jacobson and other On the Block writers get the address from the listing agent. Since they're eager to sell the house, it's not likely they get the address wrong.
So how is the drive up and the driveway with the snow? Do any snow plows come up that way? Or does it have to be privately plowed? Any garages?
