Forro In The Dark

Forro In The Dark's name can be interpreted literally: that is, they start with a very specific syncopated branch of Northeastern Brazilian folk music and play a hipper party-oriented version intended for dark, sweaty clubs. What's more, they have ties to other cool C-ville concerts: they made a guest appearance on Steve Earle's "City Of Immigrants," and David Byrne helped them out on their own tune "I Wish."
