UVA baseball plays to survive in primetime
The Virginia Cavaliers baseball team won its first-ever College World Series game yesterday against perennial diamond powerhouse Cal State-Fullerton, 7-5. This eliminates Fullerton from the double-elimination style tournament, revenge for last year when the Titans ousted the 'Hoos from the regional round. Now, coach Brian O'Connor's team will once again fight for its life in Omaha, this time in primetime. The Cavs take on the Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday, June 17 at 7pm eastern time on ESPN2. The winner of that contest will take on the LSU Tigers, who already beat UVA in the opening round, 9-5.
