Sometimes it seems like Philadelphia is just dripping with both patriotism and indie cred, what with the declaration of indie-ness being signed there a quarter century ago. Further proof comes via Americana indie rockers The Great Unknown, who evangelize equally for the lap steel and the Les Paul.
