Concert for Peace

The City of Charlottesville hosts a special concert to promote peace and understanding on the 8th anniversary of September 11th. Local bands and entertainers perform, including the John Wyant Band, Laurence Elder, artists from the Music Resources Center, and a special contribution by Wordsmith Poets. Fun also includes face painting for the kids and participation by local celebrities and elected officials. Central Place on the Downtown Mall. 970-3129.
