Silver Creek Orchards invites city folks and others to come on out to the country for some famous Nelson County apple-picking. Choose from red, golden delicious, and jonagold apples. Rt. 250 west to Rt. 151 south, right on Rt. 56 west for about 5 miles, left on Rt. 680 (Pharsalia Rd.). Follow pick-your-own signs to the orchard. 434-277-5824.
