The nonprofit organization Preservation Piedmont hosts self-guided tours of 11 historic and contemporary buildings, beginning with the Woolen Mills Chapel, 1819 E, Market St. Purchase tickets in advance at Greenberry's, Barracks Road, Beer Run, and New Dominion Bookshop.
