Mother Hicks LATTE

Live Arts teens act up at the Paramount Theater as they perform in "Mother Hicks." Susan L. Zeder's play tells the story of a young orphan girl and a mysterious outcast old woman thought to be a witch by the rural townsfolk who ostracize her in 1930's Dust Bowl America. The performance uses poetry, music, sign language, and movement to weave a delicate web of lives both young and old, both difficult and strangely magical. In the Live Arts Upstage Theater. 123 E. Water St. 977-4177.
