Philosophy and Poetry for Little Big Minds
Another StoryFest event at the Virginia Festival of the Book. Marietta McCarty (Little Big Minds) converses with kids in grades K-8 about two invaluable concepts from her book: gratitude and compassion. Then, PVCC Assistant Professor Kelli Olson and Marietta guide young philosophers in creating poetry and art based on their newfound understandings. Materials are provided.
